You’ve probably seen this yellow duck many times in MOTOGP paddock during rainy days. Can’t remember exactly start from when, but before 2014. Actually it’s not just a normal rubber duck, it has got its own name “Ahiru”. The name is from a Japanese cartoon called “Princess Tutu”, and Ahiru Arima is the main character. Also, Ahiru directly means duck in Japanese. Don’t forget to say hi to Ahiru when you meet him in the paddock, by the way, Ahiru has his own number, too. It’s number 36, the same as Joan Mir.
